Although functional items are often pushed to the margins by many, products from this brand are a perfect example that they can rival the most beautiful symphony. Delicate yet durable, fluffy, glossy, stain-resistant, and above all unique – these are exactly Warp & Weft rugs.
The first steps of the New York-based brand W&W date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this extraordinary place.
Materials used include Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. Plants are also used for dyeing, which is a very eco-friendly processing method and will appeal to everyone who cares about the ecosystem.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. They are then sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, these rugs are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a special sheen.
The variety of patterns ensures that everyone in the Warp & Weft collection will find a gem that suits the most refined tastes.
