MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This period saw the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles and heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking the ongoing generational evolution. This way, the brand enters the present with over fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
