MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
During this period, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a 3D archive of models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking the ongoing generational evolution. This way, the brand continues to build on fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking completely Italian luxury.
