MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the range of interior accessories was gradually developed, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the brand to face new digital challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
