In 2016, the ExCentric 1.0 collection received the “A’ Design Award” in the category of “Furniture, Decorative Articles, and Homeware”. This piece is entirely made in Portugal and produced artisanally. Every stage of the process is carefully executed or supervised by the creator within the context of a small workshop.
More than an architect or designer, João Faria is a creator of concepts, stylish products, luxury furniture, spaces, buildings, and interiors. A connector between the best of two worlds, sometimes so different as modern technology and ancient traditions.
