40 years ago, in 1977, two brothers, Piero and Giuseppe Pistolesi, started their business with a small workshop producing exclusive furniture inspired by tradition. It is tradition that plays a key role here, in the entire concept and classical design. An extraordinary history combined with traditional production technologies is today the complete picture of the company F.LLI PISTOLESI.
After many years, Piero and Giuseppe have not changed their idea and continue to manufacture, selecting materials and models in accordance with the tradition of original antiques, executing finishes and decorations using old techniques that sometimes disappeared or were no longer used. This incredibly inspiring passion has also been emulated by their sons, who actively participate in production, forming a team, and all these features perfectly harmonize together, allowing the furniture to be successfully exported worldwide.
This is a shared success of the entire multi-generational family, their strength, innate sensitivity to great style, and solid furniture craftsmanship. Italian handmade work is appreciated today by connoisseurs of good design in every country. The exclusive furniture of F.LLI PISTOLESI is proof that it is possible to successfully produce for over 40 years and have great fun doing it!
The entire production process has remained unchanged for many years, and this requires dedication and great determination. First, the appropriate solid wood is selected to be stored and properly dried. Then, unique sketches of future projects are created by hand, taking shape on paper over many days.
Next comes the long and highly laborious process of creating exclusive furniture from scratch for stylish interiors. The materials used in crafting these beautiful works of functional art include: Multi-layered lime wood, inlaid oak burl veneer and internally made of tanganika walnut, handles, keys, plates, knobs in metal finish in antique gold color, tulipwood from solid multi-layered wood with inserts of rosewood and natural white maple veneer, semi-gloss shellac finish made by hand with natural water resins, inlaid walnut leaf, veneered with a thickness of 27 mm on plywood layers pressed with a curved matrix. In its collections, F.LLI PISTOLESI has both classic and more modern furniture.
