The history of the Rosa family and the glass workshop

Carlo Rosa

Rosa Carlo is a master glassmaker with over 50 years of experience in this unique craft. As a young boy, he began attending the most renowned furnaces in Murano and learning the trade; this marked the beginning of his journey in the "world of craftsmanship." At age 9, he visited these important furnaces and immersed himself in the world of artistic production, which truly fascinated him. His practice started at age 12; and his fascination grew among renowned furnaces such as Barbini, Ferro Lazzarini, Galliano Ferro, Paoli. Thanks to his natural talent and manual skills, he distinguished himself with valuable works. He is a 100% genuine artist who has always dedicated his time to designing and producing new Arctic glass, practicing glass engraving, painting, and music. Master Carlo Rosa's great passion has been passed on to his sons Denis and Omar, who have been part of Vetreria Artistica Rosa for many years.
