MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial craftsmanship character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate form. Starting from ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.

After the premature death of Paolo in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which features an extraordinary combination of ceramic/tissue and heralds success thanks to precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. In this way, the brand now carries fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
