MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with a particular focus on color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
During this time, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which anticipated success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digitalization challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as head of communication and quality, to further attest to the ongoing generational evolution. In this way, the company brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
