History – our own story!

As children, we were placed in front of a lathe. Day after day, year after year, this lathe became successful in the workshop.

Today, we are known worldwide. But we haven't changed our way of working. We can't, that's just who we are. We love well-made things. Do you know what it means to be well-made? It’s something you’ve thought about, designed, forged, and built right here, before your eyes.

These are objects that don’t follow fleeting fashion, that don’t change a hundred times, that last a hundred years. There are also those who buy art worldwide, assemble it, and sell it as Made in Italy. Some pay designers to be trendy. Others change their path with every gust of wind. That’s not us. Every day, we wake up and look at its beauty. It’s a mirror of the sky. We have ancient roots. We have hills and villages that inspire artists. For centuries.

Behind us, above us, on a granite outcrop, is the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. From here, you can enjoy a view of the entire lake, then Mottarone, the Alps, and in front of us, Sacro Monte di San Giulio with 20 chapels decorated with Morazzone frescoes. Right opposite, in the middle of the lake, is the Island with a Basilica built in the 4th century, rebuilt in 1000 AD. It is important to surround ourselves with beauty and create beauty, while also protecting nature. We have always done this.

That’s why we hold many international certifications, including the most stringent in the world: certifications for the USA and California, which require completely non-toxic products. The brass we love and use does not contain lead. Our faucets do not release nickel or zinc into the water you drink. Nicolazzi S.p.A. has been operating for over 50 years in the sanitary fittings industry, where we independently and innovatively test and design our products in accordance with international standards.

Adopting a Quality Management System was a decision by the Nicolazzi S.p.A. management board, becoming a fundamental strategic element in the company's development.

In fact, the management believes it is essential to demonstrate to external bodies (Customers, Suppliers, Certification Bodies, Institutional Authorities) their ability to consistently deliver products that fully meet:

- the requirements specified by the Customer

- the requirements specified by Nicolazzi S.p.A.

- the requirements dictated by sector standards and/or mandatory regulations

The Nicolazzi S.p.A. management also considers that increasing customer satisfaction through timely and effective implementation of the Quality Management System, and its continuous improvement through monitoring and measuring identified processes, is of fundamental importance.
