The Bugatti Corsica Roadster, built on a Type 57 S chassis, is a one-of-a-kind vehicle that exists to this day. The British owner first acquired this car in 1938. Today, it is part of Mr. John Mozart's extraordinary collection in California.

The Roadster with a body by London-based coachbuilder Corsica Coachworks was built in 1938 as a one-off, in accordance with the ideals of the owner at that time. Following suggestions and strong support from the manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., CMC introduced this model in 2014 in 1:18 scale. It was also a dream come true for CMC’s owner and managing director Shuxiao Jia: she had been thinking about this car since the 1990s, having seen a smaller-scale model of it years earlier. And finally, thanks to the Bugatti Roadster, CMC fulfilled the dreams of many collectors seeking a significant milestone in automotive history – a model representing the car before restoration by its current owner was sold out very quickly.
