Bugatti Type 57 Corsica Roadster car
Extraordinary replicas of classic cars
SKU: CMC-M-106
from manufacturer CMC GmbH & Co. KG
Description
Bugatti Corsica Roadster, built on the Type 57 S chassis, is a one-of-a-kind vehicle that still exists today. The British owner first acquired this car in 1938. Today, it is part of the extraordinary collection of Mr. John Mozart in California.
With this CMC Bugatti Roadster model, the dream of a car model has been fulfilled in many ways. The Roadster with a body by the London-based coachbuilder Corsica Coachworks was built in 1938 as a one-off piece, in line with the ideals of its then-owner. At the suggestion and with significant support from Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., CMC implemented this model in 2014 at a 1:18 scale. It was also the fulfillment of the dreams of CMC's owner and managing director, Shuxiao Jia, who had envisioned this car since the 1990s when she once saw a model in a smaller scale. Finally, thanks to the Bugatti Roadster, CMC fulfilled the dreams of many collectors for a unique milestone in automotive history—the model representing the car in its pre-restoration state by the current owner sold out in a very short time.
But now, as the crowning of our advent campaign, we can offer you a small quantity of this CMC model, which has been sold out for a long time and is often sought after, which we managed to reorder. Don't miss this unique opportunity, we have only a few models in stock!
About Classic Model Cars (CMC)
Stylish products combined with the highest quality finish give us the synonym of the German brand Classic Model Cars. It is a true tribute to handcrafted products that captivate with their unique elegance and luxury.
CMC is one of the leading brands producing miniature vintage cars. The company creates classic and collectible car models using authentic materials and fabrics.
Since 1995, CMC has had its own production facility with highly skilled engineers and workers in China. The result of many months of research is a variety of classic car models, which are assembled by hand from over 1800 individual parts. The manufactory uses high-quality materials to fully maintain the "faithfulness to the original" of a given car model.
The manufactory focuses on all major and popular collector scales: 1:12, 1:18, 1:24, 1:43. The first model produced by the company was at a 1:24 scale - the iconic Mercedes-Benz SSK from 1930. It was built in 1995 and won many prestigious awards.
Each individual element is carefully assembled by hand. The instruments on the dashboard are mounted separately. The seats are covered with fabric or leather. The floor carpeting is laid in the interior and trunk. The replicas feature the smallest details in accordance with the original plans of the given vehicle.
