Although everyday objects are often pushed to the margins by many, Warp & Weft products are the perfect proof that they can rival the most beautiful symphony. Delicate yet durable, fluffy, shiny, stain-resistant, and above all – unique – these are exactly Warp & Weft rugs.
The first steps of the New York-based brand date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this extraordinary place.
The rugs are made using, among other materials, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, and linen. Most of the rugs are dyed using plant-based dyes, which is very environmentally friendly and will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly talented artisans. The rugs are then transported to Switzerland, where they are finished to achieve their final appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, they are more stain-resistant, soft, and gain a distinctive shine.
The variety of patterns means that everyone at Warp & Weft will find a gem that suits the most refined tastes.
