MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisan character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate form. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are connected with creativity in details and manual craftsmanship skills.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, which led the brand to face new digital challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, the original Vittoria joined the company as head of communication and quality, confirming the ongoing generational evolution. In this way, the brand reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisan production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
