Each item bearing the “B.C.” label is meticulously produced following all the necessary steps to achieve an ideal product, shaped and finished to the highest quality standards. Each element is modeled according to instructions personally dictated by Bruno Costenaro, reflecting his taste and that of his clients, as well as current market trends. After the first model is produced, molds are made for the final production of the finished items. This marks the beginning of a time-consuming process of creating this wonderful ceramics.

It all started when Bruno Costenaro, born in Bassano in 1940, began to learn the secrets of ceramics. He was just thirteen years old at the time and worked in companies in Marostica and Cassola. By the age of twenty, he decided to create luxury ceramics from Italy, initially with two partners in Vallonara, and later independently in Pianezze.

Over the years, demand for his products grew, and the brand moved to Molvena. Initially, small-scale production took place in the basement of his new residence, which, after many setbacks, he expanded into a workshop adjacent to his home, where he still works today. This demonstrates that family-run manufactories are thriving and creating true luxury. The strength of the workshop was extraordinary, thanks to its level of creativity, innovation, export interest, and the company's ability to overcome crises in this business sector, providing employment over the years to around seventy collaborators, whom Costenaro trained in commerce—including his children, who continue the business.

On March 26, 2000, Bruno Costenaro was awarded the honorary title of master craftsman of the Vicenza province; he was recognized for his exemplary conduct both personally and professionally, distinguished by his dedication to work and generosity in passing on techniques and values to future generations. To this day, the Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro manufactory remains one of the most prestigious ceramic factories in the area, always looking to the future, conducting research to satisfy its clients, and delivering high-quality ceramic products.

What does the process of creating this exclusive ceramics look like?

Every piece of ceramic from the mold is then hand-finished. It is glazed using the “a bagno” method (dipping), according to the colors chosen by the customer (for example: white, black, ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green), and then fired at a temperature of 1020°C.

At this temperature, the glaze makes each item durable and transparent. Finally, each element is entirely hand-finished, allowing skilled Italian decorators to achieve refined details in gold and platinum. Fired at a temperature of 600-700°C, the final product is delicate in craftsmanship and meticulously finished in every detail. After polishing, each piece is marked, and a quality certificate from the factory is placed in a small box. Items are packed into cardboard boxes using a modern packing machine that creates soft pillows to cushion delicate articles.

Thanks to this modern packing method, there are never issues with damaged goods or broken items. However, all cardboard boxes are placed on Euro pallets (measuring 80 cm x 120 cm), ensuring safer transport and eliminating missing items. Upon receipt, the customer can attest to the quality of the product, having purchased an item from Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro.

Today, the manufactory has expanded to include: gifts, complete series consisting of centerpieces, baskets, vases, picture frames, ashtrays, plates, lamps, columns, cachepots, mirrors, panels, candleholders, clocks, tables, and swans.
