Incredible creativity in ceramic design and a prestigious approach to hand-finishing every single piece is the hallmark of the Italian brand Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro. Each item bearing the “B.C.” label is meticulously produced following all necessary steps to achieve an ideal product, shaped and finished to high standards. Every element is modeled according to instructions personally dictated by Bruno Costenaro, reflecting his taste and the preferences of his clients, as well as current market trends. After the first model is produced, molds are made for the production of the final products. This marks the beginning of a long process of creating this beautiful ceramics.

It all started when Bruno Costenaro, born in Bassano in 1940, began to learn the secrets of ceramics. He was only thirteen years old at the time and worked in companies in Marostica and Cassola. By the age of twenty, he decided to create captivating ceramics from Italy, initially with two partners in Vallonara, and later independently in Pianezze.

Over the years, demand for his products grew, and the company moved to Molvena. Initially, a small-scale production took place in the basement of his new residence, which after many setbacks, led to the construction of a workshop adjacent to his home, where he still works today. This demonstrates that family-run manufactories thrive and create true luxury. The strength of the manufactory was extraordinary, thanks to their level of creativity, innovation, interest in export, and the company's ability to overcome crises in this business sector, providing employment over the years to about seventy collaborators, including his children, who continue the business.

On March 26, 2000, Bruno Costenaro received the honorary title of master craftsman of the Vicenza province; in recognition of his exemplary conduct both personally and professionally, distinguished by dedication to work and generosity in passing on techniques and values to future generations. To this day, Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro remains one of the most prestigious ceramic factories in the area, always looking to the future, conducting research to satisfy their clients, and delivering high-quality ceramic products.

What does the process of creating this elegant ceramics look like?

Every piece of ceramic from the mold is then hand-finished. It is glazed using the “a bagno” method (dipping), according to the colors chosen by the customer (for example: white, black, ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green), and then fired at a temperature of 1020°C.

At this temperature, the glaze makes each item resistant and transparent. Finally, each element is entirely hand-finished, allowing Italian decorators to achieve refined details in gold and platinum. Fired at a temperature of 600–700°C, the final product is delicate in craftsmanship and carefully finished in every detail. After polishing, each piece is marked, and a factory quality certificate is placed in a small package. The products are packed into cardboard boxes using a modern packing machine that creates soft pillows to cushion the delicate items.

Thanks to this modern packaging method, there are never issues with damaged goods or broken items. All cardboard boxes are then placed on Euro pallets (measuring approximately 80 cm x 120 cm), ensuring safer transport and no missing items. Upon receipt, the customer can attest to the quality of the product, having purchased an item from Ceramiche Bruno Costenaro.

Today, the manufactory has expanded to include: gifts, complete series consisting of centerpieces, baskets, vases, picture frames, ashtrays, plates, lamps, columns, cachepots, mirrors, panels, candleholders, clocks, tables, and swans.
