Although utilitarian items are often underestimated and marginalized, W&W products are a perfect example that they can be as beautiful as the most exquisite symphony. Delicate yet durable, soft, glossy, stain-resistant, and above all, exceptional – these are W&W rugs.
The first steps of the New York-based brand W&W date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exclusive company.
Materials used for the products include, for example, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mostly plants are used, which will surely appeal to those who care about the ecosystem.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft offers a gem to suit even the most refined tastes.
