The origins of the New York-based W&W brand date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company unlike any other.
The rugs are made using Himalayan wool and mulberry silk yarns, as well as nettle, hemp, or linen. Plants also play an important role in the dyeing process, which will appeal to all enthusiasts of eco-friendly raw material processing.
Products are crafted in Nepal, where highly skilled workers produce them by hand. They are then transported to Switzerland. There, they are finished, gaining their distinctive appearance. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, they are also softer, more stain-resistant, and develop a beautiful sheen.
The variety of patterns ensures that Warp & Weft’s collection offers a gem to suit the most refined tastes.
