The origins of the New York-based company date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a luxury rug brand.
They are made using materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. The main dyeing process primarily uses plants, which will appeal to those who care about the ecosystem and eco-friendly processing methods.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly skilled weavers. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished and given their final appearance. Thanks to an increased amount of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a unique shine.
The variety of patterns ensures that Warp & Weft offers a unique piece to suit even the most refined preferences.
