The origins of the New York-based company date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a luxury rug brand.
They are made using, for example, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will appeal to everyone who cares about the ecosystem and eco-friendly processing methods.
Each product is crafted in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers create them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished to achieve their final appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain a unique shine.
The variety of patterns ensures that Warp & Weft offers a unique piece to suit even the most refined preferences.
