Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling stylish rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern rug designs by Sartori gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so significantly that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. Following collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, a blend of noble materials that perfectly fits modern environments and contemporary furniture needs.
