Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and then in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern design of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it required opening headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Since collaborating with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea has paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and sewn by hand. This process results in a unique and very special rug, a synthesis of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
