Introducing the new Platinum #3776 Century TRAVIA fountain pen. The name combines the words Tradition and Via (Latin for “way”). Platinum #3776 Century Travia represents an evolving path that leads straight into the future.
Travia is equipped with a FLAF (Float Like A Feather) nib – originally mounted in the Century Decade fountain pen. The nib, made of 14k gold and coated with ruthenium, features a slightly sharper tip that now offers new sensations during writing – even greater softness and smoothness. It writes lightly, like a feather floating on paper, while providing precision and control to express the finest nuances, drawing lines exactly as you wish.
The #3776 Century Travia model features a modified design with a flat tip, previously introduced in the Decade model. The metal grip section shifts the center of gravity closer to the fingers, ensuring stable balance even during long writing sessions. Whether you’re writing small letters or bold strokes, the pen is designed to respond exactly as it should. From the moment you pick it up, you'll notice its characteristic features: a natural, secure fit in the hand and a soothing sense of weight.
The “Slip & Seal” mechanism, which prevents ink from drying out, now features increased sealing, significantly extending its effectiveness from about 2 years to over 3 years.
The Platinum #3776 Travia fountain pen comes with a starter ink cartridge, a converter, and an English-language book titled “Ah Fifty Years of Hardship,” first published in 1966 by Platinum founder Shunichi Nakata. The fountain pen + book sets are limited to 2,000 copies worldwide. After the sets are sold out, the Travia pen will be available later in a standard version at a lower price.
