Wood, selection

The specialists at Tiferno carefully and experience-wise select only the best wood species, verify optimal cutting, and check seasoning before subjecting the wood to processing procedures that bring out its specific qualities.

Wood, stabilization

Like all living materials, wood undergoes changes even after processing: therefore, furniture still in its natural state is left for several months until it fully stabilizes. After stabilization, the furniture is carefully sanded and smoothed by our master craftsmen, preparing it for painting. Once sanded and smoothed, the furniture is treated with beeswax, which imparts a completely natural color and softness.
