MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which features an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and which heralded success thanks to precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as head of communication and quality, to further demonstrate the ongoing generational evolution. In this way, the company brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
