MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate form. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually developed interior accessories lines, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its customers a range of elegant products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, to confirm further generational evolution. In this way, the company reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking completely Italian luxury.
