Joan armchair with a metal base, upholstered with high-density polyurethane foam. Available in various finishes and coverings.

Frame: solid beech wood construction, springy thanks to elastic rubber straps.
Padding: high-density polyurethane foam with varying densities, a flexible top layer that, combined with the bottom layer, provides increased softness over time.
The seat cover is non-removable.
MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate character. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its lines of interior accessories, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which heralded success thanks to precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. Thus, the brand moves into the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
