Heinrich Arlt, a resident of northern Bohemia, moved to Arnstadt with his family shortly after World War II. One of the main reasons for this decision was to continue the traditional trade related to crystal. Heinrich founded a glass refinement company in 1947.
Since then, the family business has grown into a world-class retailer of lead glass.
Lead glass is characterized by the presence of lead oxide. With extraordinary optical properties and, among other things, significantly greater light refraction, lead glass has a specific shine and is said to be more beautiful than diamonds.
All products by Arnstadt Kristall are made from the highest quality crystals. After detailed shaping, masterpieces are created, including exclusive vases, cups, alcohol accessories, and extravagant bowls crafted from genuine lead glass.

The manufactory is no longer located in Arnstadt itself but has been relocated to the north of the city. The company continues to thrive today, currently under the supervision of the founder's daughter, Gerda Heller.
