Born in Kent, Annie Soudain spent her early childhood in Cornwall, where her interest in plants and nature began. This colorful linocut was created using reduction printing, which involves gradually cutting, inking, and printing from the same block. The scenic view is inspired by a field overlooking Rye Bay in Hastings Country Park.
