Description
Original and modular sofa with a distinctive, creative character, making it an ideal choice for a dynamic yet refined style. Glazed ceramic legs give it an eclectic touch. It can easily be combined with tables from the Carousel line, made of brass, glass, and ceramic. Carefully crafted details make the Baia sofa exceptional. The armrests and backrests feature an outwardly inclined upper side, which not only increases sitting comfort but also enhances the overall style. Several modules are available.

MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial craft-based character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of three-dimensional models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company reaches the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
