The origins of the New York-based brand date back to 2001 – when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
They use, among other materials, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen in their production. Plants also participate in the dyeing process – which will surely appeal to all those who care about the environment.
The products are made in Nepal, where highly talented artisans craft them by hand. Later, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished to achieve their final look. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain a distinctive shine.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft offers a gem for even the most discerning tastes.
