Although the pattern on the Gotham model appears simple, it makes an impression and catches the eye at first glance. It is made of 100% Himalayan wool.
Although functional items are often pushed to the margins or underestimated by many, products from this brand are a perfect example that they can be as magnificent as a symphony. Delicate yet durable, soft, shiny, stain-resistant, and above all unique – we present the Warp & Weft rugs.
The origins of the New York-based brand date back to 2001 – when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
Their production uses, among other materials, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. Plants also participate in the dyeing process – which will surely appeal to those who care about the environment.
The products are made in Nepal, where highly talented artisans craft them by hand. Later, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished to achieve their final appearance. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain a distinctive shine.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft offers a gem for even the most discerning tastes.
