The philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exclusive knives for various purposes, is different. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop seems to be completely independent of the trends that have occurred worldwide over the years. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners firmly oppose the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any changes. Changes are highly welcome, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not carried out by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The best quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
