The times we live in are marked by increased consumption. Therefore, the items we use daily hold no value other than utility for us. Over the years, we often do not show them the sentiment they deserve, replacing them with newer models.

In complete opposition to this state of affairs is the philosophy of the Berti Knives brand, producing exceptional knives for various uses. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems entirely autonomous from the trends that have prevailed worldwide over the years of its operation. Its main guiding principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian craftsmen.

The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production using unskilled labor, which they believe would cause the loss of identity in the products manufactured. For this reason, the philosophy of their workshop places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are indeed welcome, provided they introduce elements that do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike the competition, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials - the blades are made of steel, and the handles are made from buffalo, bison, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that their knives, although intended for everyday use, be treated with appropriate respect, which guarantees them long-lasting durability. Each of them is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
