Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory appears to be entirely autonomous from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its history. Its core principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.

The owners strongly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would cause the loss of identity in the products made. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are highly desirable, provided they do not conflict with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles are made from materials including buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that, despite being intended for everyday use, their knives should be treated with proper respect, which guarantees their durability for many years. Each one is a small, unique artifact.
