Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small workshop appears to be completely independent of the trends that have prevailed worldwide over the years. Their main guiding principle is a commitment to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these skilled artisans.
The founders of the brand strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity in the knives produced. Therefore, their work philosophy places great emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to innovations. They are very much desired, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles include materials such as buffalo horns, bison horns, deer antlers, and 'bosso' wood.
