Glassmaker Heinrich Arlt, a citizen of northern Bohemia, and his family decided to resettle in Arnstadt after World War II. One of the key reasons for this decision was to continue the traditional trade related to crystal. Heinrich started his glass processing workshop in 1947.
The small family business gradually expanded, while the production of glass was increasingly replaced with beautiful lead crystal glass. The extensive range of Arnstadt Kristall products is made from the highest quality crystals.
