The Fern version of the Salon model is a product made entirely from natural fibers. Its production utilizes silk from Dandong, a town renowned for its textile industry. It is characterized by exceptional softness—comparable to plush—and durability. The weaving density is 120 knots, 15 threads per knot.
The main advantages of the Fort Street Studio brand are the noble quality of the yarns and silk threads, a unique approach to dyeing, and careful color matching. Each product from this brand is a kind of artwork, a synergy of artistic mastery and functional aesthetics.
Fort Street Studio was created by two individualists with a rich artistic background—Janis Provisor and Brad Davis—who decided to channel their passion for art into interior design. Their works, before they jointly dedicated themselves to creating this new brand, were exhibited at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to the creativity and exceptional skills of these two, a company different from the rest was born—focused on unique, interesting patterns and the finest materials. Fort Street Studio—named after the street where the co-founders lived—has been setting future trends in interior design for twenty years.
