Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory appears to be completely independent of the trends that have occurred worldwide over the years. Its core principle is loyalty to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The owners firmly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered products. For this reason, their company's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to change. Changes are very much welcomed, provided they do not conflict with the existing idea and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, and handles include materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, and 'bosso' wood.
