The company's beginnings date back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the people creating these items led to the brand's growth. The real breakthrough came with new British artisans who inspired the original creators. Over time, ideas multiplied, and Porta Romana became a global company.
How are Porta Romana product designs developed?
The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. The artists discuss their projects with manufacturers to create innovative pieces. Each year, a new collection theme is introduced, each with its own unique character and style. The process of creating these pieces is very lengthy, starting with 3D graphics that are later transformed into prototypes. All steps are repeated multiple times to ensure the products meet the highest standards.
