Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling wonderful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, when Sartori's innovative carpet designs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its Italian market designs worldwide. These luxurious carpets gained recognition across the globe, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, made from noble materials and perfectly suited to contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
