Murano Glass Chalcedony is a type of glass characterized by an exceptional, opalescent surface created by adding metal flakes to the glass mixture. The result is a piece of glass that appears to have a shimmering effect, with swirls of various colors running through it.

Chalcedony glass, which is particularly difficult to produce, has the property of combining silver salts and other coloring oxides with the canonical glass melt: it is this extraordinary chemical process, combined with the talent of Murano masters, that allows for the creation of wonderful works with a dark, matte background, interwoven with enchanting warm and dark tones, a true whirl of light and shadow, capable of captivating even the most experienced observer with its fantastic swirls.
