The Horizon model design is the work of Anette Rusin, who created as many as five color variants, each named after a different body of water. In this case, we are dealing with the Caribbean Sea, while the other versions can be found in the Designers Studio category.
Although applied arts are often underestimated and marginalized by many, W&W products are the perfect proof that it can rival the most beautiful symphonies. Delicate yet durable, fluffy, shiny, stain-resistant, and above all, exceptional – these are exactly W&W rugs.
The first steps of the New York-based company Warp & Weft date back to 2001 - and were taken by Michael Mandapati.
Materials used include Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, or linen. Plants are also used for dyeing, which is very environmentally friendly and will surely appeal to all those who care about ecosystems.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Then, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft’s offer includes a gem to suit the most refined tastes.
