The Logs model is decorated with three equally sized columns filled with horizontal stripes. Thanks to the addition of silk yarn, its surface beautifully shines, while the use of Himalayan wool provides the model with a higher lanolin content.
Although functional items are often marginalized by many, W&W products are the perfect proof that they can be as magnificent as a symphony. Delicate yet durable, soft, shiny, stain-resistant, and also unique – these are just some of the features of W&W rugs.
The first steps of the New York-based Warp & Weft company took place in 2001 when Michael Mandapati decided to establish an exclusive brand.
Materials used include, for example, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
Each product is handmade in Nepal by highly skilled weavers. Afterwards, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their final appearance. Thanks to a higher amount of lanolin, these rugs are softer, more stain-resistant, and have a beautiful sheen.
