This chair is incredibly comfortable and was specially designed for us by Brazilian architect Fernando Motta.
Exclusive design combined with the highest quality materials embodies the Sevensedie manufactory. In 1965, Italian entrepreneur Diego Piva opened a workshop where he created the best: classic wooden chairs. His craftsmanship was quickly appreciated. He opened a small carpentry workshop that embraced new projects while maintaining the same high standards: it became an Italian furniture company that continuously developed.
Diego’s knowledge and skills were rewarded for dedicating his life to something meaningful, which over the years never stopped growing (like a child). After many years, Diego Piva decided to entrust management to three long-time collaborators: Massimo, Federico, and Luca. Today, they run an Italian manufacturing plant that aims to realize an original philosophy but combines it with innovation. The new management took the company into their hands, with great effort and determination refreshed the product range and began approaching the furniture market with a new spirit. In addition to traditional Italian chair manufacturing, many new designer chairs and armchairs in contemporary and modern styles have been introduced.
Exclusive chairs alone were not enough to satisfy the ever-growing demand for high-quality Italian furniture. Soon, the range was expanded to include sofas, tables, coffee tables, cabinets, and bedroom furniture.
The company has exhibited at the most famous Italian furniture fairs worldwide, I Saloni Milano, for 35 consecutive years since its first participation in 1985. Today, Sevensedie is recognized worldwide thanks to its distinctive Italian furniture collections, capable of meeting every need from classic to modern and contemporary styles.
