How was Porta Romana founded?
The company dates back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the people who created these items led to the company's growth. The true success came from new British artisans who inspired the original creators. Over time, ideas multiplied, and Porta Romana became a global company.
How are Porta Romana product designs created?
The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. Artists discuss their projects with craftsmen to create designer pieces. Each year, a new collection theme is developed, each with its own unique character and style. The process of creating these pieces is very lengthy, starting with 3D graphics that are later transformed into prototypes. All steps are repeated multiple times to ensure the products meet the highest standards.
