Manufaktura Zafferano was founded in 2001 by Venetian designer Federico de Majo. The founder has always been associated with the glass industry. Today, he designs products for Zafferano, paying particular attention to research and development of new shapes.
With the experience gained over the years alongside master glassmakers and a passion for glass and design, Federico de Majo has created collections that quickly stand out for their originality and innovative process on an international level.
Poldina is a collection of cordless battery-powered lighting fixtures, consisting of table lamps, floor lamps, a wall lamp with a hanger, pendant lights, and wall sconces. The “touch” control on the head allows for turning on/off, dimming, and selecting the color temperature of the light. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (except for finishes in gold, silver, and copper).
The electronic control system monitors remaining autonomy and ensures a steady light output until the battery is exhausted. Charging is therefore optimized and always performed correctly. All models are equipped with a contact charging base.
The Italian manufacturer offers 3 collections of unique and luxurious items:
1. Zafferano Tableware, a renowned series of tasting glasses, colored glasses, and glass and porcelain accessories.
2. Zafferano Lampes-à-porter, portable and rechargeable lamps that can create wonderful atmospheric effects anywhere.
3. Zafferano Ailati Lights, fixtures with clean and minimalist lines, for indoor and outdoor use; customizable lighting for creating bespoke projects.
