Manufaktura Visconti is an Italian company producing luxury goods, founded in 1988 in Florence by Dante Del Vecchio and Luigi Poli, who were collectors of fountain pens. While collecting luxury fountain pens, they aspired to become their manufacturers themselves.
In the 1990s, the Visconti brand developed a high-vacuum filling system (1993), a travel inkpot (1997), and a double reservoir filling system (1998), which consisted of a dual-chamber filling system to prevent leaks.
By 2012, Visconti had exported its prestigious products to over 50 countries worldwide, selling 50,000 pens annually.
The company is known for using cellulose acetate in the production of its accessories, adding details made of titanium, gold, diamond, ebonite, and acrylic fiber. Handcrafted Visconti fountain pens have been appreciated for their quality and exquisite craftsmanship. The product line has evolved over time, with several collections released since its inception.

| Additional information | The pen is equipped with an 18-carat gold nib finished with ruthenium. All metal elements are made of silver, which is aged during special processing. The ring is engraved in the workshop and then enameled, and the clip equipped with a pressing mechanism is decorated with an element resembling a traditional typewriter key. The matching case was designed as a lovely display item. The design is inspired by the first Remington typewriters, where the upper part, along with the antiqued silver hinged opening, contains a red and black glass bottle with ink. The lower part, where the writing instrument is stored, has a magnetic closure that allows you to view the pen. The cover is decorated with antiqued silver and ivory enamel keys that spell out the word Qwerty. The casing also has an antique silver plate with the Visconti logo, resembling a typewriter |
