The Italian company Mepra was founded in 1947, but the entrepreneurial history of the Prandelli family begins many years earlier. In 1901, brothers Bortolo, Francesco, and Giovanbattista established the first family business Prandelli in the Lumezzane valley on the banks of the Gobbia river, to harness the kinetic energy of water to power machinery.

The Mepra enterprise was created in 1947 by the Prandelli brothers. The first factory producing cutlery from 18/10 stainless steel was established in Lumezzane. Over generations, the Prandelli family actively engaged in pursuing this passion. Products of this brand are found on the tables of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants worldwide.

Stainless steel cookware

The high thermal conductivity of pure aluminum is paired with the practicality and hygiene of steel. 18/10 stainless steel, aluminum core, induction steel exterior. Interior and exterior surfaces are polished to a high gloss. Handles with firmly riveted 18/10 stainless steel rivets.
