The turtle-shaped box is a reproduction by Achille Gamba. Among the Cosi Tabellini collection, you will find a wide range of decorations for elegant interiors — from stunning six-armed candlesticks, single-arm designs, to stylish tableware, desk accessories — sets for the desk, lamps, compasses, and office clocks, as well as boxes and trinket dishes. All these functional art pieces are made from solid pewter.

- Advantages of pewter: Pewter (cynol) is an alloy of three metals: tin (90-98%), antimony (0.5-8%), and copper (0.25-2.5%). It is an extremely durable and hard, yet malleable material. Like any metal object, including household silverware, it requires care to maintain its shiny appearance in excellent condition for many years.
