Marioni chose to feature wood finishes in their Concept coffee table collection, which is quite distinctive. Brushed or lacquered, patinated or hand-decorated – this noble, natural material is always the main feature of the most elegant and sophisticated designs, where craftsmanship combines with innate Tuscan creativity.
MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand continues to evolve, enriched with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
