MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate character. Starting from ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/tissue and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digitalization challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, Vittoria, the eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
