The brand's origins date back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the artisans producing these items led to the company's growth. The true breakthrough came with new British craftsmen who inspired the original creators. Over time, ideas multiplied, and Porta Romana became a global company.
How are Porta Romana product designs developed?
The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. The artists discuss their concepts with the craftsmen to create innovative pieces. Each year, a new collection theme is introduced, characterized by its unique style and character. The process of creating these products is very lengthy, starting with 3D graphics that later evolve into prototypes. All steps are repeated multiple times to ensure the products meet the highest standards.
