Although utilitarian items are often overlooked, products from this brand are a perfect example that they can be as beautiful as the most exquisite symphony. Delicate yet durable, plush, shiny, stain-resistant, and truly unique – these are the features of W&W rugs.
The beginnings of Warp & Weft’s New York-based operation, led by founder Michael Mandapati, date back to 2001.
Materials used include, for example, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will surely appeal to those who care about the ecosystem.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their distinctive appearance. Thanks to a higher amount of lanolin, they are also softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a unique sheen.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft’s collection offers a gem for even the most discerning preferences.
