Description
Just as Rossi attempted to integrate his buildings into the urban fabric, our Fitos tables were designed to immerse themselves in a cosmopolitan and modern environment.
Malabar was founded in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the stylish World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has made its mark at the most prestigious international fairs, such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing.
Malabar’s furniture production comes from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this exceptional brand is based on the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted execution, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of exclusive furniture.
The use of various techniques in producing natural wood products results in incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of their design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Juicy and vivid hues dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture.
In addition to wood, the manufactory uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in bold furniture designs.
The company's name derives from the Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices motivated Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to define very individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely exclusive.
And these are exactly the products we love and introduce to the My Luxury Products platform.
What raw materials does Malabar use in its production?
