Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family business rooted in the industrial reality that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply embedded in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic growth and development path have allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the spread of Italian design and high quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with designer executive collections, then developing operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this enables offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the Treviso province, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of Europe's most important industrial furniture districts. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The manufacturing plant, specialized in producing office furniture, is equipped for woodwork, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and a showroom of over 400 sqm, displaying all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, of which 640 sqm are dedicated to production, 330 to new offices, and 830 to a new showroom.

MANUFACTURING

The brand manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in the Treviso province and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate "know-how," which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and consolidate its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is focused on "just in time," enabling reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, in the local manufacturing district where most raw material and semi-finished component suppliers are located. All products are fully designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of consistent excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every piece of furniture results from an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department working closely with external designers and constantly updated with technological and legislative developments. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.
PERSONALIZATION

Prof can offer and execute customized services on standard production models: from manufacturing oversized components, sourcing new materials and finishes, to producing samples and prototypes. Thanks to its versatile manufacturing capabilities, Prof has developed specialized expertise in non-standard consumable materials, handling projects from small and medium to highly personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and complaints, Professor maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services along with comprehensive information, updates, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof’s broad production flexibility allows, in addition to mass production, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department is capable of supporting clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both in functional and aesthetic solutions, with fully customized finishes.
Careful advice at every stage of implementation: targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in the structure, step by step, until final installation.
Production is fully adapted to individual needs.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competition through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and rationalization of internal production processes, Professor obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling increasingly specific business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and becoming more sensitive to environmental issues, Prof emphasizes maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Eco Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through wood reuse in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twenty-year anniversary, Prof introduced a new green logo to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its activities and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.

ECO PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, allowing for customized packaging training. Optimization tailored to specific products enables significant reductions in packaging costs, storage, and consequently waste disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste were established within the company. All waste is stored in special containers and subsequently recycled.

CERTIFICATIONS

Confirming its commitment to quality, Prof obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 certification and adheres to international standards in design, development, production, and customer service.
